Zonta International

Zonta International is a oldest and leading global organization of individuals working

together to build a better world for women and girls.  Established in 1919, Zonta International aims to improve the legal, political, economic, health, and professional status of women at the global and local levels.

Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access

to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal

basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Protect the planet—with women in mind

Women and girls are hit hardest by climate change, yet too often left out of the solutions. From lost homes and jobs to rising risks of poverty and early marriage, they’re on the frontlines with fewer resources to recover. Zonta believes climate action must reflect women’s needs, voices, and leadership. Through education, advocacy, and service, we’re building a stronger, more equitable future.
